Marketing began 12 months ago and has driven rapid customer acquisition.
With this growth and new capital investment, the business is ready to enter the next phase.
RoleWe are recruiting a business development manager to oversee the affiliate strategy and implementation.
The company is in the early stages of its affiliate program and is activating multiple networks to scale the current 220 partners.
In addition to affiliate revenue, the company plans to monetise the product through a Retailer Dashboard (currently a PoC) that provides powerful insights into consumer shopping behaviour.
The BDM may also be responsible for taking this to market, in addition to an advertising revenue stream.
ResponsibilitiesAffiliate Partnership Development: Identify and establish relationships with potential affiliate partners (retailers and/or brands) initially via the current affiliate networks above and other e-commerce platforms, retailers, and service providers. Negotiate and secure affiliate agreements that align with the company's revenue goals and strategic objectives. Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners, ensuring a steady flow of new opportunities. Strategic Planning & Implementation: Create and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that drives growth through affiliate partnerships and collaborations. Work closely with the executive team to align the strategy with the company's broader vision and objectives. Set measurable goals and KPIs to track the success of business development initiatives. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by expanding the affiliate partner network and optimising existing relationships. Develop innovative strategies to increase conversion rates, customer acquisition, and overall sales through affiliate channels. Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and revenue maximisation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of affiliate partnerships into the customer experience.
