Join Nutrien Ag Solutions – the leading agribusiness Docklands, VIC location Hybrid working arrangements 12-month Fixed-Term Contract with potential to extend for right candidate About the opportunity:Reporting to the Senior Manager – Internal Audit, you will support Nutrien Ag Solutions' continued focus on effective management of risks and opportunities.
You will undertake fieldwork for audits/reviews to provide assurance over key business processes, risks, and controls that will assist the business in achieving its strategic objectives.
Additionally, you will provide practical and commercial recommendations to address root causes of weaknesses in control adequacy or effectiveness over key areas of risk.
Conducting integrated control reviews and promoting best practices throughout our organization, aligned with global standards, will also be part of this rewarding role.
About You:To be considered for this opportunity, your experience will include:
Passion for the Agribusiness/Retail sector with business or corporate experience and exposure to Internal Audit.
Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of the COSO Integrated Framework for Internal Controls.Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Information Systems, with coursework in accounting, data analytics, economics, computer programming, or other financial-centric curriculum.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven stakeholder management skills across all levels.Strong academic aptitude and well-developed analytical problem-solving skills.A driven individual with strong commercial acumen and a desire to achieve results.Proven ability to plan and execute internal audit engagements and/or fieldwork that impacts our company.Familiarity with risk frameworks and tools, including participation in the risk assessment process and critical analysis of risk assessment results to devise targeted mitigation plans.Strong understanding of business processes, controls, and systems.Ability to lead interactions with business stakeholders to gather key information on controls components.Passion for sharing knowledge with the broader Internal Audit team in Australia and North America.Willingness to travel to our branch network when safe to do so.If you want a career that makes a difference, then come to work with us at Nutrien where your purpose for coming to work every day is real and impactful – growing from the ground up.
