Exciting Opportunity at Award-Winning Medispa Nestled within The Calile Hotel - the heart of the bustling James Street precinct, KAILO is a state-of-the-art Wellness Medispa focused on personalised guest experiences that nourish the mind, body & soul.
We are currently seeking a qualified Spa and Massage Therapist who possesses extensive experience in luxury spa treatments, body rituals and remedial massage to join our growing team of therapists and wellness professionals.
About Us… KAILO Medispa is a state of the art Medispa nestled within the Calile Hotel in the heart of James Street, Fortitude Valley.
This is an exciting opportunity for an advanced massage/Spa therapist to join our team of highly experienced Beauty/ Spa and Dermal Therapists, Nurses and Doctors.
Our goal is to lead the industry with the highest standard of customer service and most advanced and up to date techniques, products, equipment, and services on the market.
As KAILO is a 7 day per week business open from 8am – 7pm, we do require each team member to be flexible with availability to work these shift hours, including one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).
Currently we are looking for someone to join our Weekend team with the option of more days for the right candidate.
About You… Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualification in Massage Therapy or Beauty Therapy or other related/equivalent course (Diploma or Certificate IV minimum level requirement)Experience in various styles of massage as well as spa treatments – facials, body wraps and scrubsOther highly regarded massage modalities include hot stone, reflexology, cupping (non-essential) and aromatherapy (non-essential)Experience in spa facialsProfessional communication skills are crucial in areas such as client consultation, providing warm and welcoming guest service, and collaborative teamworkExtensive experience in exceptional client service and guest carePrivate health fund registrations (non-essential)To be successful at Kailo you must have... The ability and confidence to create body care programs, upsell Kailo services & packages, and cross-refer into Kailo's extensive treatments & retail offeringPassion & a tireless enthusiasm for your role, ongoing learning, and the wellness space as a wholeImmaculate, professional presentation that demonstrates pride in yourself and being part of the Kailo teamA proven track record as a reliable/punctual team player who is committed to innovation and offering positive contributions to the businessAvailability: KAILO is open 8am-7pm, 7 days a week.
Flexibility in work availability to work daytime and evening shifts during the week and on weekends is crucial.Remuneration: Remuneration is experience-based.
