Whilst our head office is located in Geelong, this role could also be based out of our Melbourne Office for the right candidate.
About The Role This role will report and work with one of our Associate Directors and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of client service to maintain and grow our portfolio of corporate clients.
This role would suit current corporate account executives or SME account managers.
Ideally, you are a collaborative team player who is self-motivated, has excellent interpersonal skills, and shows strong organisational and time management skills.
The Requirements: Diploma of Insurance Broking qualification or willingness to complete Ideally 5-10 + years experience in the insurance industry Excellent report writing and communication skills Ability to prioritise work Integrity and passion for the insurance industry Be a team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment You have a strong desire for growth both technically and personally Assist with a corporate portfolio of business with a particular emphasis on profitable growth Contribute to business retention activities.
Maintaining Client Relationships Providing personal advice to clients in all matters affecting their insurance needs Presenting recommendations and options to clients; reaching agreement and receiving instructions on their implementation Keeping clients fully briefed throughout the year on market trends and how they may be affected Maintaining regular personal and telephone contact with clients throughout the year Visiting clients on an "as needs" basis Business Development Development of a portfolio of business, with a particular emphasis on profitable growth, providing professional standards and consistency of advice Identification and development of new business prospects by cross-marketing and keeping abreast of changes in the market place Attend to new business leads and enquiries Using interpersonal communication styles and methods to maximise partnerships with business associates Identifying potential for and developing new client relationships; proactively identifying client requirements Teamwork Work effectively with team/work group through open communication Positively influence team members' actions to adequately and cost-effectively meet clients' insurance needs Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required on work status of all team members Monitor and develop the skills of team members wherever possible to ensure high morale What You Will Gain In Return: Work with a company that has a proven track record of growth and an excellent vision for the future A company that provides a fantastic platform for your career with clear goals and succession planning that prides itself on being the best we can be Great opportunity to develop skills across all facets of an insurance broking business including time to shadow senior executives Technical and risk management coaching Work with a collaborative, dynamic and fun team #J-18808-Ljbffr
