Paralegal, Financial MarketsJob DescriptionPermanent opportunitySydney basedHybrid working modelHow will I help?We have an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join the WIB Financial Markets Legal Team.You will be involved in preparing and negotiating key Financial Markets agreements (in particular, ISDA agreements covering derivatives transactions) and associated activities, including systems updating and reporting.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a highly sophisticated business, support a premium institutional client base and acquire a sought-after skillset.Some of the key accountabilities are:Drafting, reviewing, and working with the business to negotiate agreements.Working closely with financial markets lawyers as required.Updating key bank systems with relevant information and participating in associated risk control and data quality activities.What do I need?Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build and sustain key relationships with business partners, WIB Legal colleagues and law firmsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailA self-starter, with initiative to drive matters forward and willingness to learnStrong time management skillsAvailable to work a later start and finish time each day to support the Financial Markets business in London during their morning hoursExperience with ISDA negotiations as a Paralegal will be looked upon favourably but is not essential for the role.Experience in helping to coordinate a team and/or key business processes will also be looked upon favourably but is not essential.How do I apply?Start here.
