Nestled in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland, Glasshouse Country Baptist Church (GCBC) is a medium-sized church family with a passion for Knowing Christ and making Him known.
We are seeking a Senior Pastor to guide us in living out this mission and in pursuing God's vision for our church and community.
A major ministry is Glasshouse Christian College which has 1100 students from Prep to Year 12.
Position highlights
? Preaching Biblically sound sermons with practical application for the congregation.
? Teach and lead in a way that inspires and encourages spiritual growth for members of all ages in the church.
? Opportunity to help develop and implement outreach, especially through our ministry, Glasshouse Christian College.
? Involvement in the Glasshouse Christian College board to provide spiritual direction.
? Long standing connections with national and international missions.
? High-growth area with lots of opportunity to reach the wider community.

About you
The Senior Pastor will:
? Have a deep commitment to Jesus and the Christian faith; someone with a strong calling to our church.
? Meet the requirements of 1 Timothy 3.
? Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to our congregation.
? Equip, empower, and support leaders and ministry teams for effective service.
? Collaborate with church leadership to develop and implement God-honouring vision, to foster church growth and engage the community.
