Our Emergency Management Department is currently seeking experienced, proactive & adaptable ESO/Operators to join our expanding teams in the Southern Queensland region.
Ideal applicants will have exposure to the coal mining industry and experience in emergency response services & Machinery Operations.
Applicants are required to possess a high level of communication skills along with computer literacy & problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and within a team.
Successful applicants must be based in Queensland, Australia. MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED/WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORTo be eligible for these positions you must hold:
Standard 11 InductionOpen Manual Licence or aboveCurrent CPR & First Aid – HLTAID009, HLTAID011, HLTAID014, HLTAID015HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse TestingRII's or SOA's in Dump/Haul Truck, Dozer, Loader & ExcavatorCurrent QLD Coal Board Medical with Mines RescueNational Police Certificate (Issued within last 12 months)Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue, including the following units:PUAFIR207 – Operate Breathing Apparatus Open CircuitPUAFIR316 – Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an IncidentPUAFIR324 – Render Hazardous Materials Incidents SafePUASAR022 – Participate in a Rescue OperationPUASAR024 – Undertake Road Crash RescuePUASAR025 – Undertake Confined Space RescuePUASAR032 – Undertake Vertical RescuePUAEQU001 – Prepare, Maintain and Test Response Equipment, OR PMAWHS211 – Prepare Equipment for Emergency ResponseAt Mining Skills Australia, we may also accept evidence of the above units of competency separate to the Certificate III in Emergency Response & Rescue.
