Here's why you should consider being a part of our team:10 % Above Award Salary: We value your dedication and hard work with a competitive salary package.Employment assistance program for ongoing wellbeing, and retail discount program for all of SCECS staff.Support from Assistant Coordinator, Regional Manager and Head Office team.The RoleWith a genuine passion for childcare, you will be compassionate, friendly and possess the ability to interact with children positively and productively.Your main responsibilities will be:Be the responsible person for the serviceProvide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environmentMaintain children's attendance and casual bookings schedules to ensure child safety and supervisionSupervise other educators, ensuring they understand and perform in-service responsibilitiesDesign and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journalsCreate opportunities to share children's participation and engagement in programs with familiesMaintain strong relationships with families and the school communityThis is a permanent Part-Time position- 25 hours per week- 1:00pm-6:00pm Monday to Friday. (Term Time Only)About youTo be successful you will have:A qualification in Early Childhood Education and care (Diploma preferred)Previous work experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)Hold a certificate of training in child protectionFull first-aid certificatesHold an NSW Working with Children CheckAbout Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services:Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a not-for-profit service catering to children and families from our Catholic schools and Parishes.
