We are a leading provider of specialist veterinary care in the Canberra region, dedicated to providing exceptional medical services to pets and their families, offering advanced treatments and compassionate care.About the roleWork under the supervision of our American board-certified veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist to perform and implement a designated rehabilitation therapy plan.Provide rehab treatment to patients.Assist in sedations and diagnostics for patients.Assist in the recovery and management of injured, debilitated, and post-surgical patients.Assist in therapeutic exercises.Effectively restrain patients during acupuncture, laser, ultrasound, or TENS treatments.Patient and room preparation.Assist in daily digital medical record keeping and documentation.Take and record digital notes during rehab sessions and consultations/rechecks.About youCert IV Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.At least 2 years of clinical experience is desired.Rehabilitation related certification is desirable but not strictly necessary e.g., CCRVN, CCRT, CCRP program, etc.Has a passion for veterinary rehabilitation.Can safely lift up to 22kgs and be able to work on the floor.We want to offer youThis position offers an opportunity to work with some of the best clinicians in their field, in a professional and challenging yet enjoyable workplace.
