The Role:Are you passionate in putting a stop to Family Domestic Violence (FDV)?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our Connect and Respect Program as a Behaviour Change CoordinatorAs the Behaviour Change Coordinator, you will develop and deliver a behaviour change program to support men who choose to use violence and/or abuse cease their use of these behaviours while maximising the safety of victim survivors and children.
You will lead a team of specialist facilitators ensuring the efficient and effective deployment of resources and the delivery of quality services.This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis working 76 hours per fortnight.
This role will have the opportunity to work from Perth and Armadale offices, with travel between the sites required.Who Are We?Since opening our doors in 1977, our passion for delivering high quality, people-focused support services has continued to flourish.
In May 2020, we became the new custodian of White Ribbon Australia, establishing a national footprint for the organisation.We remain committed to growing a workforce that celebrates diversity and seeks to inspire and empower the people we serve.While we've changed a lot over the past 45 years, our values – Everyone is welcome, Doing what we say, Above and beyond, and Stronger together – remain at the very heart of everything we do.This is your chance to join an organisation with an exceptional team culture, driven by a commitment to diversity, respect and fairness.Selection CriteriaTertiary qualification in the human services field with a specialisation in Family Violence, and/or significant experience in Family and Domestic Violence and Abuse.Relevant experience in a similar role leading the delivery of group facilitation.Advanced skills in risk assessment, facilitation, safety planning, advocacy, negotiation, and teamwork.Cultural competency to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culturally and linguistically diverse populations, and people with disabilities.Experience in building and maintaining engagement of multiple stakeholders.Intermediate people management skills, including the ability to lead and manage people and resources to achieve consistent outcomes, and provide professional supervision.Knowledge of Family and Domestic Violence and Abuse and working with Family Safety.Satisfactory Police clearance (not older than 6 months from the issue date).Currently holds Unrestricted drivers' or willingness to obtain.Currently holds Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.Willingness to obtain a Department of Justice Clearance once employed.What we can offer youGenerous NFP salary packaging opportunities (option to package up to $15,900 for general living expenses and an additional $2,650 for entertainment benefits per annum).Extra Leave - 5 days of extra paid leave per annum (pro rata for part time).Paid parental leave policy.Family Domestic Violence and Abuse (FDVA) leave, financial assistance and structured support for any employees who have experienced FDVA incidents.Discounted Health Insurance with HBF.Free, confidential counselling services through our Employee Assistance Program.Annual Flu Vaccination Program.How to applyPlease submit a resume and a cover letter that addresses our Selection Criteria.
