Lauda Europe is a Maltese registered airline which is part of the Ryanair Group and offers wet-lease and charter services. We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our team based in our Schwechat (Vienna, Austria) office. The role will be closely integrated with colleagues in Lauda Europe’s Malta HQ and the Ryanair Group HQ in Dublin.

**The Role**:
We are looking for an ambitious accounting professional to join our growing finance team. The role will afford an opportunity to drive business strategy and work closely with senior & C-Level management. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to build their career in Ryanair, Europe’s largest aviation group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Financial reporting
- Preparation of Management accounts
- Preparation of subsidiary/statutory accounts
- Variance analysis
- Management and KPI reporting
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- SOX controls and compliance
- Mentoring of junior finance colleagues
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within our network from time to time

**Requirements**:

- A qualified accountant with industry or public accounting experience (ACCA, ACA, CMA or equivalent)
- Fluent English is essential with fluent German an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a larger team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to manage tasks and changing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in work outputs
- Commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of wider business factors
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP (or similar accounting package)
