**What to do**:

- Application Database Design and Build - Create database objects by building Model as per business requirements
- Backup and Restore
- Monitoring, Space Management and Alerting
- Capacity Planning - estimate required capacity and
- Performance Tuning
- Planning and maintenance of reorganization processes
- Production Support and problem management
- Planning and execution of software upgrade activities
- Taking care of documentation and quality assurance
- Support of our developers with regards to database topics

**You check these boxes**:

- Expertise on the mainframe (JCL, REXX) and in data base management and administration for DB2 or Adabas
- Basic knowledge of mainframe development languages and processes
- Enjoy working independently
- High interest in new topics within mainframe and in interaction with the mainframe
