We are involved in the production of thin wafers in the semiconductor industry. For this purpose we use processes like mechanical grinding, protection of the wafer front side with glass carrier or grinding foils as well as wet chemical processes. Your task will be the supervision of the mechanical grinding processes and the protection of the wafer front side for the production of thin wafers. The focus here is on silicon carbide wafer processing. Our challenge is to produce ultra thin wafers with high quality, reliability and yield at competitive cost. In your new role you will: - Identify and implement **continuous process improvements **, optimization of workflows and collaborations in cost reduction programs - Support with the **root cause analysis **of process and quality deviations - Be responsible for the **process window analysis **to ensure stable processes by using statistical method) - Ensure **active knowledge management **(development / exchange / transfer) within the department and with other Infineon sites - Contribute to the **development of new processes**: - **Act as an **interface to individual specialist areas **such as single process development, maintenance and other front-end manufacturing sites**: - **Take responsibility for **plant **and **process releases**: - **Assure **quality standards **(FMEA, SPC, APC/FDC, PCRB process)** You are best equipped for this task if you have: - Completed a **master's **degree in **P **hysics, Process Engineering, Materials Science **or a related field - Already gained some **experience **in the **semiconductor industry**: - **Experience in using **defect resolution methods **(e.g. FMEA, 8D, SPC, DOE)**: - **Good **analytical skills **and experience in the **use of statistical methods**: - **Good **communication skills **and enjoy working in a team as well as independently**: - **Fluency in **English **, German would be an advantage** More than 5.000 people work at five different sites in Austria. **Part of your life.
