Senior Pricing Analyst

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you are the key business partner for the commercial organization regarding all pricing-related matters. The responsibilities range from day-to-day pricing activities to the provision of strategic pricing recommendations and further development of the pricing function. You will be introduced to the world of flavors and taste, and learn how flavors are priced in relation to raw material impacts and manufacturing cost changes.

**In this exciting role you will**:

- Pricing Activities:
You will perform ongoing pricing activities such as standard computing pricing of flavor products, working on tender projects, providing target costs, and price monitoring processes. You align the target margin approach to regional needs considering global standards; define action recommendations to avoid gross margin erosion.
- Pricing Business Partner:
You will represent the pricing view across departments to controlling, finance, operations, and procurement. Together, you will see to understand threats and opportunities and provide strategic input. Last but not least, you ensure proper pricing and finance performance monitoring and take appropriate actions.
- Price increase management/price negotiations:
You will be instrumental in managing the execution of the price increase program. As appropriate, you will participate in and prepare price negotiations with customers. Together with key stakeholders, you will develop rebate models for different scenarios as part of the negotiations. In addition, you interact closely with procurement to understand and analyze threats and opportunities of raw materials movements.

**Your professional profile includes**:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, Management or similar
- Minimum 4 years of combined experience in B2B pricing, finance, or similar; additional experience in sales, technical or related functions, ideally in the F&F industry is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent approach to internal and external stakeholders
- Working experience in cross-cultural/international environment;
- Preferably previous customer interaction experience
- Very strong analytical and numerical skills and a good level of problem-solving skills
- Service orientated mindset, pragmatism, and a hands-on mentality
- Robust process and project management skills
- Business fluent in English; any additional language skill is an asset
