About the Role
Reporting directly to the appropriate portfolio of the Sub-Regional Director of Teaching and Learning - Secondary Team, the RHOD oversees all curriculum and Assignment planning, Assignment quality assurance, internal assessment, and supports Campus Principals in their responsibility for quality assurance of Lessons, Studies and Tutorials.
This is a full time, permanent role with a 0.6 load of HoD duties and a 0.4 teaching load. The HoD position has a 2-year fixed term tenure, whilst the teaching position is on-going and permanent.
About You
**Essential**:

- Proven outstanding teacher, qualified to teach Health & Physical Education
- Skilled at curriculum planning to demonstrate intent, implementation and impact upon student progress.
- Experience of using Digital Learning tools effectively.
- Leadership experience in a relevant middle or senior school role.
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.

**Desirable**:
Previous experience as an examination body assessor/marker, in educational resource design or teacher training.
