Senior Negotiator

The Senior Negotiator (Senior Commercial Executive) is a role that is responsible to close Volume Licensing (VL) deals and sees them through to processing. You will negotiate and manage all aspects of large deals and will continually seek out revenue growth opportunities through upselling and cross selling. The Commercial Executive is a trusted advisor who leads the design and execution of the customer’s commercial strategy and negotiation, selling the right commercial solution at the right time and ensuring every deal is compliant and profitable for Microsoft.
**Responsibilities**:
- You will agree on the best commercial Volume Licensing deal through definition and negotiation of the commercial terms in collaboration with the Account Team.
- Create commercial plan for the assigned sales accounts by mapping out how to maximize commercial opportunities for the account. Look at customer commercial history, inclusive of discounts, concessions, and consumptions for account. Anticipate upcoming renewals as appropriate.
- You will work with and through the wider sales teams, both internally and externally to Microsoft, in order to achieve targets and will be measured on sales goals as well as execution metrics that ensure on-time and quality deals.
- Develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, partners, Account Team in order to help our customers deliver their business goals and achieve Microsoft revenue targets.
- You will provide expert advice and consultation to the sales office in relation to Commercial and contact solutions for customers in complex scenarios. You will be the escalation point for any requirements to discount deals or adjust customer contract terms and conditions.
- You will hold specific discount and customer contract concession approval authority in order to close volume licensing deals.
- Ensure the Volume Licensing solution meets customer needs by creating and proposing Volume Licensing solutions to Microsoft’s largest Enterprise customers and act as a Volume Licensing Consultant for the sales office to find the optimal commercial solution.
**Qualifications**:
- Extensive business-to-business sales and/or procurement experience with a technical product or solution
- Experience leading high-level negotiations up to C-Suite level
- Comfortable speaking at all organizational levels, from the CxO to the procurement/purchasing teams
- Able to make the best choices for the customer based on their commercial strategic needs
- Strategic, long-term thinker able to analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Positive attitude and a passion for working with customers and partners
- Able to explain complex solutions; skilled at simplifying the complex.
- Team player and collaborative - high performing individualists will not be successful
- Must be fluent in German
- Sales compensation plan starting c70,000Eur+ depending on experience level
