Commodity Buyer

**Commodity Buyer (f/m/d)**:
As Commodity Buyer, you will reponsible for supplier management and contract development. You will maintain and develop relationships with current/potential suppliers regarding chemical and base material fields, negotiate the contract and execute the buying strategy. We are looking for a professional with the ability to work successfully in a intercultural and inter-geographic team.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Current/potential suppliers sourcing and negotiating, monitor the suppliers’ performance, provide documented cost-saving by leverage the buying power.
- Negotiate, develop and implement the contract with suppliers
- Establish and maintain the strategic relationship with suppliers, in order to ensure a secure and sufficient supplying base
- Monitor the market trend and prepare the market/commodity assessment accordingly
- Support commodity projects and execute the sourcing strategy.

**Your Profile**:

- At least 1 year experience in Strategic Purchasing; Purchasing experience related to Chemical or Base Material is preferred
- Knowledge of purchasing/finance process and system, CIPS (Certification of International Purchasing and Supply Chain) would be a plus; Experienced in vendor management
- Very good communication and negotiation skill
- Proficient skill in MS Office, SAP, etc.
- Proficient English oral and writing skills; German/Chinese/Japanese language skill is a plus

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 42,000.Euro.
