Are you passionate about people, purpose, and creating exceptional employee experiences? We're looking for a proactive and organised **People & Culture Officer** to join our team in **Vienna**
As a key member of our People & Culture (P&C) team, you'll play an essential role in delivering our people strategy and enhancing the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment to retention, performance to payroll, engagement to development.
This is a hands-on and varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and is motivated by continuous improvement and meaningful employee interactions.
**What You'll Be Doing**
- Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle - from writing job ads to scheduling interviews.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including right-to-work checks.
- Support performance management processes and follow-up actions.
- Provide first-line advice to managers and employees on P&C policies and best practices.
- Maintain accurate HR data and prepare regular workforce reports and metrics.
- Support payroll by ensuring timely and accurate updates for absences, changes, and new hires.
- Train managers on time and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Organise internal employee events and initiatives that foster engagement and recognition.
- Oversee a seamless onboarding and orientation experience for new joiners.
- Drive completion of mandatory training and support the delivery of brand development sessions.
- Improve internal processes and communications (e.g., policies, FAQs, guides).
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for recruitment, training, and engagement.
- Provide confidential support and act as a trusted first point of contact for employees.
- Contribute to formal employee relations processes, note-taking, and investigations.
- Collaborate on sustainability initiatives including support for Green Key certification.
- Be a visible brand ambassador, championing our values across all interactions.
**What We're Looking For**
- Previous experience in a People & Culture/HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
- Familiarity with HR systems, payroll coordination, and employee engagement practices.
- A collaborative team player who is approachable and adaptable.
- Fluency in German (English is a plus).
