In support of our existing team we are currently looking for the position of:
**_ Senior Data Scientist (M/F/d)_**:
**Responsibilities**
- Understanding and translating business problems and questions into technical terms and requirements
- Data exploration and data storytelling towards business audiences and translating analytical outcomes in a way that delivers value
- Selecting appropriate analytical techniques and algorithms to solve business challenges beyond exploratory analysis as well as critically assessing model performance and output
- Choosing appropriate tools (e.g., R, Python, no-code environments) and workflows for data science projects and articulate those decisions
- Communicating & collaborating with diverse, technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Recognizing of the need of automated analytics and designing and implementing scalable solutions that will facilitate regular extraction of business insights

**Qualifications & Experience**
- University degree (Business, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science) with proven experience in a similar role (e.g., data analyst, data scientist or data engineer), preferably in the health care sector
- Record of delivering analytics products and driving business decisions through applied data science and advanced analytics
- Innovative and self-motivated personality with high customer orientation
- Proven experience with machine learning algorithms, techniques, and concepts (supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, cross-validation, performance metrics, etc.)
- Experienced user of SQL and common data-centric scripting languages (e.g., R, Python) alongside commonly used libraries (e.g., tidyverse packages, plotly, pandas, scikit-learn)
- Experienced in data visualization and related tools (e.g., QlikSense, PowerBI, Spotfire) and libraries (e.g., plotly, ggplot) to complement data analysis
- Experience with project management, including agile methodology (e.g., Scrum) and tools (particularly Jira)
- Very good communication and presentation skills towards a business audience
- Fluency English (German is a plus)
