The **Employee Relations Partner Austria** role is an exciting role within the Multi Country PAG (People Advisory Group) Function based in Austria.
This function is enterprise focused, dedicated to supporting all employees, leaders, and business units within Austria across the key organization’s capabilities of business transformation, Employee Relations, HR Governance & HR Policy and Policy Framework.
In this role, you will be a member of the Multi Country PAG (MC PAG) community and will help drive the Employee Relations agenda in Austria.

**How you will contribute**:
- Provide support for performance issue documentation (PIP, warning letter, etc.) and employer-driven terminations for the country in collaboration with the ER/LR Leads for Austria, HR Partners, and Business Leaders.
- Manage ER case management for activities such as performance improvement counselling, involuntary termination documentation, disciplinary actions, and RIF documentation as needed.
- Assist in the management of RIF programs and collaborate with stakeholders like People Solutions.
- Support the roll-out of country-specific policies and programs in alignment with global processes and frameworks and country LR and ER.
- Support the ER Lead in implementing new working time/shift models, including counselling leaders, suggesting shift plans according to operational and legal requirements, and aligning with the Labor Relations Lead for the establishment of works council agreements.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of local tools and training related to employee relations, providing coaching to management and HR partners for capability building in ER topics.
- Support projects around Employee Relations.
**Required Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ideally with background in employment law, human resources or change management.
- At least 2 years’ experience in HR with focus on Labor or Employee Relations Topics
- Experience in complex matrix HR organizations is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of applicable labour law in Austria
- Profound knowledge of MS Office
- Project Management and Change Management experience is desirable
**Required Skills and Competencies**:
- First experience and passion for Employee Relations topics with an ability to work across different legal entities and locations within a country (willingness to travel between Vienna and Linz)
- Ability to manage the complexity of implementing business change across different legal entities
- Balance and mitigate risks and provide credible advice
- Strong collaboration skills with all relevant stakeholders in HR and the business
- Experience in working in an environment with Works Councils
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholder groups and coach leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in German and good English
