About the role:
Part of the Global Finance Team, but based out of Vienna, Austria, the Accountant role will play a key role across the international business in defining, documenting, and standardizing the financial and operational processes required by a multi-national, multi-entity company. We are looking for someone who has exceptional problem-solving skills and enjoys working across all levels of management and functions in a challenging and fast-paced, global environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the end-to-end accounting process for a number of legal entities in the Tricentis Group:

- Monthly financial close processes and related reporting.
- Preparation and review of monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Income statement and variance analysis review.
- Support the International AP team for recording of invoices/payments as required.
- Lead/support the Statutory audit processes.
- Responsible for specific local statutory reporting and compliance in the country they are responsible for
- Taxation - Prepare required information in coordination with our internal tax department for external tax advisors to complete tax returns on a monthly and yearly basis and transfer pricing documentation where applicable.
- Prepare and execute finance budgets.
- Ad-hoc reporting and other duties as may be agreed from time to time.
- Review of timely reports for filing with Local Statistical office
- Coordinate with the other functions on completion of statutory compliance requirements.
- Be involved in Finance Team projects, identify gaps, and propose and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bilanzbuchhalter certificate or ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA Qualified
- Minimum 2 years of related accounting experience, public company accounting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Austrian tax law (VAT, Corporate tax etc.)
- Native German and excellent English language skills in speaking and writing.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Flexible to meet changing priorities and the ability to prioritize workload to achieve on time accurate results.
- Experience with US GAAP principles and financial statements or previous experience in a Big 4 / Multinational/ International company is considered advantageous.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to effectively complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Comfortable working with other team members across different geographies.

We are under legal obligation in Austria to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 49.000;
- gross per year for this position according to the IT collective agreement. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be above the indicated minimum salary.
