**Your personal sphere of influence**:
We are seeking a committed University Assistant (praedoc) for the Department of Didactics of Civic Education (headed by Univ.Prof. Dr. Dirk Lange). This is a substitute position, limited to approximately mid-December 2025.
As a University Assistant (praedoc), you will join Prof. Lange's research team, which currently consists of one postdoc, six praedocs, one student assistant, and one administrative colleague. Our research focuses on democracy education, civic awareness studies, global citizenship education, digital citizenship education, inclusive civic education, and human rights education.
**Your future tasks**:
You actively participate in research, teaching, and administration, which includes:
Contributing to research projects and scientific studies
. Participating in publications and presentations
- . Working on your doctoral dissertation
- . Undertaking administrative tasks in research and teaching
- . Assisting with project proposals and the acquisition of third-party funding
- . Supporting the organization of meetings, conferences, and symposiums
- . Independently conducting courses in accordance with the collective agreement provisions

**This is part of your personality**: Completed Master’s degree in education or social sciences, teacher education program, or a comparable qualificatio

- n Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research method
