**About us**

Livin Farms is an internationally oriented, fast-growing young company. We commercialise and develop products and technologies for the next generation of agriculture: insect farming. Our core product, Hive PRO Insect Factory is a turn-key solution for the food, feed and recycling industries. Seeded with Seedlings (baby larvae), Hive PROs turn industrial quantities of organic products into insect products that our customers market in the animal feed market.

**General Goal of the Role**

As a Bio Researcher you will be in charge of the execution, and evaluation of scientific experiments while monitoring the biological systems on the site

**About the role**
- Execution, and evaluation of scientific experiments
- Experimental Data management
- Research on insect farming
- Insect colony rearing for research
- Lab Maintenance
- Execute tests to assess biological feasibility of different substrates for black soldier fly larvae

Your Profile
- FMS, Matura or Studies w. focus on food technology/ animal breeding/laboratory
- Interest in working with harmless insects
- Analytical thinking, detail-oriented and independent work style
- Advantageous: Previous knowledge of or interest in plant or animal breeding
- PC skills: MS Office/Libre Office, Basic Data Analysis
- Good communication skills along with English proficiency
- High willingness to learn and work in an interdisciplinary team
