**Job Description**:
Organon is hiring a **Junior Logistics Specialist **to join in Austria. In the role you will support all supply chain processes and activities in all business areas of our company within the DACH cluster (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), including back-up tasks for colleagues in all three markets. Key responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations with our Third Party Logistics Providers (3PLs) and working closely with other departments supporting supply chain operations in the DACH cluster.

**Primary activities include, but are not limited to**:

- Support of the daily operations for our Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs)
- monitoring interface transactions to guarantee business continuity and performing root cause analysis of SAP issues and coordination of fixes
- supporting operational responsibility for all logistics related tasks including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory reconciliation, stock adjustments, batch management (last authorized shipping dates, short shelf-life)
- assisting with complaints and resolution management of temperature excursions, damaged goods and late deliveries for inbound and outbound shipments
- reviewing and comparing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help the Supply Chain Team to ensure that 3PLs are exceeding said KPIs
- Support in periodic transport lane risk assessments including documentation, reporting and record keeping
- Support in developing local procedures (in compliance with regional and global standards) for the department to ensure our supply chain standards
- Monthly reporting including Intrastat, and all other reporting tasks
- Assistance with webshop administration for the handling of promomaterial, roll-ups and convention booths materials (order release and processing of customer requests)
- Build strong and professional partnerships with local and regional departments like Quality and Order to Cash
- Support with substitution of Logistics Specialists in the DACH cluster
- Adherence to all policies, procedures and safety requirements directed by Organon
- Participation in the yearly physical inventory count
- Participation in and support of internal and external audits as needed

**Professional education and skills**

**Education**:
Bachelor in the field of Supply chain / Economics / Logistics or commercial education (“kaufmännische Lehre”)

**Skills Required**:

- 0-2 years of work experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Distribution & Logistics or Customer Services
- Fluency in German
- Excellent English skills
- PC/Analytical skills - Microsoft, especially in Excel
- An advantage: First steps utilizing ERP system SAP
