Independent academic research on a topic related to ethical dilemmas of migration policy

Collaborative research within the framework of the "Dilemmas" project, including cooperation in the preparation of project publications, organization of workshops, etc.

Preparing and submitting a research proposal for third-party funding for a follow-up postdoctoral research project

Publishing research findings in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals

Engaging in international research collaboration

Contributing to departmental affairs in research and teaching

**Your profile**

Completed university degree (doctorate/PhD) in the fields of political sciences, economics, sociology, geography, population studies or related discipline

Publications in peer-reviewed journals

Previous experience and proven interest (as demonstrated by PhD topic, professional background and publications) in the field of migration studies

Excellent writing skills

Excellent English skills (min. C1)

**In addition, the following criteria are desirable**:
Proven interest in, and familiarity with, the political theory of migration and migration ethics

Experience in the acquisition of third-party funds

**Your perspective**

Part-time position (30 hours/week) initially limited to 2 years or full-time position (40 hours/week) initially limited to 1.5 years, with a minimum salary of EUR 4,752.30 gross per month on a full-time basis, classification according to Kollektivvertrag der Universitäten (collective agreement of universities) -49 VwGr. B1
