The central function Purchasing is responsible for the total purchasing volume of Infineon and essentially contributes to achieve the financial targets and the growth of Infineon.
During an individual training phase, we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development, we want to ensure your success in this position.
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for the **procurement of a locally accounted equipment segment **and related services
- Implement commodity and **sourcing strategies **and carry out all **purchasing site activities **to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of products and services, especially Equipment and related Services
- Assist in **defining yearly goals **and estimate **market price developments**:
- **Negotiate prices and purchasing conditions **for locally accounted commodities
- Develop optimal **site contracts and agreements **to contribute to the profitability of the company
- Manage **Supplier Relationship and Development **to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain
- **Monitor **and **analyze **the purchasing market **to obtain and structure relevant purchasing market information and to foresee market developments
- Actively seek early involvement in **sourcing decisions **as well as contact with interface partners to recognize and support innovation
- Actively participate in **cross-functional team alignments **and joint project execution
- **Report monthly/quarterly results **to control purchasing activities
- Mitigate and manage risk

- A **university degree **that ideally combines **technical courses **and **business administration **or **relevant work experience **within a similar function
- At least **1 year of relevant purchasing experience **in a manufacturing company with related working experience
- Knowledge about the **semiconductor industry **or the **procurement of production equipment **is an advantage
- A **customer **and **result **orientated personality **with strong skills in **organization **, **communication **, **negotiation **and **presentation**:
- Advanced knowledge of **data analysis **, **contract terms **and **negotiation of commercial clauses**:
- Experience in **coordination **of interdisciplinary expert teams **and/or **purchasing teams**
- Familiarity with **local sourcing **, **equipment **and services **would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of **quality issues **such as **TS16949 **/ **ISO14001 **/ **EFQM **are an additional plus
- Advanced knowledge of **SAP **and **Microsoft Office **with **strong Excel **and **PowerPoint skills**:
- Fluent **German **and **English **skills**
