Area Europe is a Business Unit of Doka managing 25+ Country Organizations and making up two third of the global revenue of Doka.

**Job Description**:
The **Head of Finance & Controlling Area Europe**, reporting to the Executive Vice President Europe is accountable for all aspects of finance & controlling for the area, in close cooperation with three Regional Directors and local Finance & Controlling Heads.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- As a **Finance Business Partner**, you'll be part of the **Area Europe Management Team**, working closely with the Regional Directors as well as with Sales, Engineering and Operations Department Heads in supporting realization the area strategy and in particulary area's financial objectives.
- Taking the lead for **area reporting**, strategic mid term planning, budgeting, forecasting and to prepare recommendations for improvement of financial performance (e.g. scenario planning, etc.)
- To prepare & create business cases for CAPEX projects in area Europe
- To **provide effective leadership** and guidance, training & development for your dedicated Finance & Controlling Team as well as functional leadership towards local Country Head of Support colleagues.
- To further develop and improve controlling standards, financial and customer credit management processes in area Europe.
- To collaborate closely with Corporate Finance & Controlling department.
- To act as a role model and being promoter of Doka strategy, UAG principles and in particular of compliance for area Europe.
- Occasional travelling to countries in Europe

**Qualifications**:

- Higher Education in Finance & Accounting
- Several years of relevant experience in controlling, financial analysis and business planning, preferably in an international environment
- Any experience with construction industry would be a major benefit
- Leadership and international experience as well as Big 4 (Audit) background welcomed
- Hands-on Professional accounting experience
- Profound knowledge of relevant accounting standards
- ERP knowledge, especially in SAP FI and CO modules
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English & German
- Passion to learn and drive to succeed
- Highest integrity and work ethic standards

- You may take advantage of remote work or alternatively use our shared offices in Linz or Vienna on a daily basis in addition to your workplace in Amstetten

- _ For this position, a salary in line with the market is offered, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience. We are legally obliged to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 42,558.88 according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry)._
