**Sr Medical Manager, MS (f/m/d)**

**About the role**

The Sr Medical Manager, MS acts as a trusted and engaged medical contact and establishes the strategy and defines tactics in close collaboration with cross-functions within the affiliate and in regional/global alignment with the global strategy. As the Medical expert, the incumbent has the operational expertise in managing complex projects, developing and aligning cross-functional country medical plans that address patient needs.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead and execute the strategy for the MS Medical Affairs, develop medical tactical plan in alignment with the regional medical strategy and brand plan.
- Provide expertise to HCPs and other internal / external key stakeholders while closely aligning with regional / global medical team of the TA
- Build strong medical, scientific partnerships with external key stakeholders by developing and executing cross-functional KME-/Stakeholder engagement plans (in alignment with Medical Lead and Leadership Team) and act as a trusted and credible medical scientific partner by engaging in scientific/ medical exchange as appropriate
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the therapy areas by reviewing the literature, clearly communicate accurate scientific information to Key Medical Experts and key stakeholders, leading or participating in cross-functional interactions
- Define, organize and implement medical education events and meetings on face
- to-face or virtual base for different stakeholders.
- Define, organize and implement medical projects, such as Patients Support Programs, Early Access programs on need, to provide patients access to therapies, according to local laws, external and internal regulations.
- Provide local support for Drug Safety, Medical Information and Clinical Research/GCO as appropriate, act as Information Officer for the affiliate
- Partner and collaborate with Value & Access to show medical value of approved products relevant to local external stakeholders (payers, HCPs, agencies); this may include developing and executing phase IV studies, registries, etc.
- Review promotional and scientific materials for medical accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations

**Who You Are**

As a an experienced professional, you have seen and learned the Medical Affairs basics and advanced your skills ideally with a mix of field-based/office-based expertise. You are ready to take on your next challenge and to own responsibility as the Medical Affairs expert for MS. You are an open minded, innovative individual who has a vision of how to position yourself and your projects by engaging in sustainable, cross-functional and external relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- MD degree, PhD or master’s in science, biology, immunology, neuroscience or equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work
- experience within in the pharmaceutical industry, prior experience in Neurology preferred
- Excellent understanding of strategic needs of the affiliate organization and strong external orientation in holding peer to peer’ relationships with top tier KMEs and HCPs
- Statistical & data interpretation required for review and support of medical information as well as for data comprehension, critical appraisal, synthesis interpretation and delivery of data/information
- Solid Knowledge and understanding of AMG, industry codes as Pharmig as well as experience in working with Health Authorities and within Austrian health care system
- Working knowledge of Regulatory Affairs, Value and Access, Drug Safety, Legal and Compliance environment
- Strong project management, people management and success measurement skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both German and English on fluent level
- Digital affinity and experience in virtual events
- Flexible and open mind-set

Minimum annual gross salary of 75.000,00 €, depending on qualification and experience willingness to overpay.
