We are moving towards a circular economy with a high focus on sustainability and therefore you will contribute on a daily basis to not only developing value adding fossil based compounds, but also high-quality recyclate based compounds.

You will be able to work independently, driven by your own curiosity and at the same time work within a diverse and international team in different innovation projects. Your colleagues in our Innovation Centre and labs are scientists and experts from all over the world.

**You will also**
- Plan technical aspects of R&D tasks and be responsible for execution of project tasks and implementation
- Act as an interface between R&D and various business communities, including external partners, as well as providing technical support and problem solving
- Contribute to exploratory activities including idea generation and evaluating such ideas through exploratory projects
- Contribute to intellectual property rights (IPR) related issues e.g. patent filling, patent opposition and competitor follow-up

**About you**:

- Ph.D. degree in in Polymer Science/Engineering, Polymer Physics, Polymer Chemistry or Chemistry with experience as a scientist or researcher in polymer compound, polymer development, or polymer structure-property-processing relationship
- Potentially Masters degree with substantial experience in industry and experience in scientific work
- Any experience with Polyolefins is a bonus
- Fluency in English as it is our company language

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 60.212,18 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
