Erste’s Cyber Defense Center (CDC) provides security services for business partners in Austria and CEE, with a strong focus on protecting IT and data assets. The CDC is performing a broad array of security activities and is responsible for maintaining a secure IT landscape, especially in the digital banking area of Erste. We are now looking for a full time (Junior) Information Security Officer to expand our team of likeminded security experts in terms of maintaining a secure IT landscape and a secure journey to the cloud. **Your Tasks**:

- You will support Cyber Security Resilience analysis for projects and solutions in order to define optimal security requirements
- You will help to review the Information security documentations of solutions and projects, define the risks based on IT risk management methods
- You are going to give advise on Cyber Security topics and defense methods and develop best practice approaches for common security issues
- You will review clearance requests for network connections and other forms of specific access permissions
- You will support the Security Incident Management process in cooperation with fellow Security Analysts, the internal and external CERTs
- You will advise business partners to address the underlying security challenges raised by the digital transformation like Cloud computing, mobile technologies, IoT and Digital / Zero trust
You will research about current and planned regulations and legislature that has implications on security and data privacy
- You will parteke in the organization's security awareness program to educate and motivate fellow colleagues

**Your Background**:

- You have fundamental knowledge about Cyber Security threats and defense methods, security architecture, technology and current development topics
- You bring an understanding of modern digital services, secure IT architecture, and their Cyber Security implications
- You have the ability to facilitate threat modelling and vulnerability assessment of processes, technologies and architectures to discover risks
- You are willing to learn new technologies and take on new projects to grow your experience in different areas
- You are able to communicate and propagate a Security by Default mindset and Security by Design principles
- You have understanding about agile (project) management methodologies
- You are a service-, action-, team-oriented and results-driven personality

- The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 44.646;
