Director Identity Verification Solution

The Central Europe Market Development and Customer Solutions team cover market and payments industry strategy, product and services sales management and strategic programmes. The Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) function delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe. Identity Verification Solutions enable authentication, identity verification and fraud prevention services to ensure digital interactions are convenient and secure.

About the Role:
This is a newly created role for Central Europe Cyber and Intelligence Products and Solutions, to access the Identity product suite from our recent acquisition of Ekata, a global leader in Digital Identity Verification Solutions. This role offers a unique combination of strategy, product management and sales that will require engaging across Mastercard’s global and European Product and Solutions teams and responding to strong customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for building and implementing Mastercard’s strategy to put Identity Verification at the heart of Mastercard consumer payments in Central Europe
- Responsible for developing the sales and target plan for Identity Verification services
- Accountable for meeting established sales revenue targets
- Required to work with senior internal partners and alternative platforms to bring increased security to Account-to-Account payments
- Responsible for growing Mastercard Digital Identity Verification footprint into new business areas
- Full ownership of the sales process from prospecting through to contract execution
- Works with front line Customer sales teams to identify new business

opportunities, ensures alignment amongst stakeholders and manages dependencies
- Builds effective working relationships internally and with Customers
- Develops and leads communications and presentations to internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
- Supports product development by working with the front-line customer sales teams to capture customer feedback on product and emerging needs and communicates feedback to regional and global Identity Solutions product teams.

About You:

- This function’s first location is Vienna. Mobility to other supported countries is expected
- The ability to fluently communicate in German is compulsory, on top of fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Excellent sales, relationship building and networking capabilities
- Previous technical / product consultative selling experience
- Experience in authentication, payments, identity solutions or fraud/risk solutions
- Excellent sales, relationship building and networking capabilities
- Superior communication and presentation skills - ability to simplify a complex topic into a simple and engaging story for Customers
- Creates trust and value with Customers and confidence in solutions
