Job profile:

40 hours per week Main duties:
- habilitation in educational sciences with a focus on research on higher and continuing education with special consideration on professions or on implications of new technologies in professions
- scientific research with a focus on qualitative-empirical research of higher and continuing education with special consideration on professions or on implications of new technologies in professions
- independent teaching (to an extent of four, after fulfilment of the qualification agreement eight semester hours per week)
- supervision of students, including examinations and supervision of their academic theses
- participation in administrative tasks of the University
Necessary academic qualifications:
- excellent dissertation in educational sciences or related area
- profound knowledge in the field of higher and continuing training and professionalisation
- profound knowledge in scientific research methods, particularly in reconstructive social research
- experience in the field of third-party funding and mobility requested
- relevant professional and/or postdoctoral experience
- experience within academic teaching
- relevant scientific achievements beyond the dissertation/PhD, e.g. specialist publications and scientific lectures
- knowledge of German: C1 level according to GERS; knowledge of English: B2/C1
- relevant IT knowledge
- independence, team and communication skills, willingness to cooperate
