**Job Description**:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic HR Director of Events to lead the department out of Vienna in supporting the global events hospitality operations. Reporting into the Global HR Director, the role will oversee the entire event landscape globally and further strengthen the unique link between events and our restaurants and hotels.

Our biggest assets are our people, a fresh and honest product, and constantly pushing the boundaries in creating a unique customer experience across the world. Our premium customer base gives us a special edge as an employer, be it as the exclusive hospitality partner of Formula 1 Paddock Club across the globe or the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid (tennis) while also managing sport events at our fixed locations in Munich, FC Bayern Munich, or Salzburg, Red Bull.

**A day as an HR Director**:

- Absorb the DO & CO way and values, learn to understand the intricacies and dependencies of the event business at DO & CO - be in touch with operations and the people
- DO & CO’s relentless customer focus consequently means a fast paced and highly flexible company culture by providing an exception customer service
- Organisation is key and to have good oversight of business needs with a strong ability to pivot between the macro and micro
- Lead, support and live by example - unity/teamwork is a fundamental trait of being part of the DO & CO family
- Look after a dynamic HR team supporting a core group of ca. 180 members who are always on the move
- Look after an international freelance pool of +1.200 team members (we continue to grow daily) spread across Europe and the USA
- At our HQ in Vienna, together with our leadership
- and international operations team, align and plan people resources for all event activities - from a small candlelight dinner for 2 guests to +7.000 VIP guests daily over three days as a Formula 1 race
- Together, with a highly dedicated and hands-on team, focus on continuously developing training, development, performance evaluation etc
- Evolve the potential of ongoing recruiting road shows across different countries, offering dynamic and flexible working models across the business
- Support and partner with both the moving events division and all the permanent locations
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
- Report to senior management by analysing data and using HR metrics
- Be part of planning, leading, developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Develops and implements departmental budget.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong background within HR, preferably from hospitality, catering, or retail
- Experience in managing high volume HR operations across multiple countries, at the same time
- Happy to travel weekly in the beginning phase of the relationship
- Currently, presence at our HQ in Vienna is essential - this is where our leadership
- and international team come together on a regular basis to plan the upcoming resources and events
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels
- Impressive organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superb supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
