We are looking for a **Laboratory Senior Technician** for our Innovation Headquarters’ in Linz. In this role, you will be the digital connector of the laboratory, the IT translator of the laboratory needs. You will be carrying out tests and experiments on state of the art equipment. You will analyse and evaluate results based on latest digital IT-tools/software (e.g.: impact, hardness and long-term property characterisation).

Your key activities are:

- Carrying out physical material tests on polyolefins using the latest techniques
- Physical characterization of plastics and interpretation of the results
- Development of new or optimization of existing test methods and techniques in compliance with national and international standards
- Documentation of test results, evaluation of measurement data and customer advice
- Active participation in research and development projects
- Supervision of physical test methods and devices

**About you**:
You are skilled and professional with a physical-technical experience (completed apprenticeship as a physics/chemistry laboratory assistant or material tester, HTL or college with a corresponding background). You communicate fluently in English. You have excellent computer skills.

Most important, you have a great learning attitude, are a team player with an open mind, high accountability and logical thinking.

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 47.455 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
