Real Estate Portfolio Management Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team with wide and diverse exposure to the entire Real Estate cycle. The incumbent will be involved in both asset and investment management, working on the transactions side (acquisitions and disposals) as well as managing the assets.

The role will provide analytical, reporting and asset management support, focussed on specific Funds providing analytical reporting to the Fund management and asset management support. The individual will take over the responsibility for providing the analytical and financial analysis support, and managing the financial modelling of the Funds. It is expected that there will also be additional ad hoc financial analysis projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide forecasting and analytical capabilities at the asset, portfolio and fund level for the Funds.
- Support the fund and portfolio manager through providing analysis of strategic and tactical property portfolio and fund level investment decisions.
- Support the asset managers in the preparation of the annual business plans for the assets.
- Assist in the sales of assets including, assisting in the due diligence process and preparing appropriate documentation for the internal and external approvals.
- Assist the fund manager in reporting to the Investment Committee, clients, investors and other interested parties on matters relating to fund analysis and performance, potential new acquisitions, new purchases and disposals.
- Assist in reporting to investors, including quarterly reporting, ad hoc investor queries, sales recommendations, cap-ex recommendations and presentations to the board.
- Take on certain asset management projects at the property level.
- Provide analytical support in the preparation of the annual business plans and reforecasting exercises.
- Provide financial analysis support at the property and corporate levels in the preparation of the annual business plans required under the Asset Management Agreements.
- Provide analytical support in the regular review of the annual business plans throughout the year.
- Financially appraise any potential purchases and/or sales for clients.
- Provide financial analysis at the property and corporate/fund level for new business projects as and when required.

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required
- Higher level education and role specific studies.
- Experience of the European/Austrian property market.
- Asset management skills.
- A sound understanding of performance measurement and investment analysis principles.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent spreadsheet skills.
- Sound knowledge of database structures and data handling.
- Familiarity with Argus valuation software.
- Report writing skills.
- High standard of computer literacy.

- Ability to think strategically.
- To seek conclusions on the impact of asset, portfolio and fund investment decisions in an effective manner and to make timely value based decisions.
