We are seeking a highly motivated, personable individual to join our team as an **Associate **Product Operations Analyst**. As an Associate Product Operations Analyst, you will be a vital member of our global Operations Group responsible for supporting business and technical processes of Moody’s Analytics. You will be part of a regional team, located in Vienna, Austria, who drives continual improvement in our procedures while also building new lean, repeatable processes. To achieve these goals, you will partner with global teams such as Product, Strategy, Development and Client Services.

In this role, you will work closely with the Product Team Lead, as well as with Customer Support team. You will be supporting on initiatives relating to customer support, as well as related to product testing, investigation, communication, and knowledge management. We’re looking for someone with a keen interest for continuous improvement in the product development organisation & processes, with focus on customer support.

**Role / Responsibilities**:

- Second-tier support including identifying, resolving and/or escalating client-reported product issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for internal and external users
- Partner with the product team to develop, improve, implement, and educate on product development related processes and workflows.
- Define communication channels between product and customer support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA and customer facing teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Finance or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2 years or less previous experience in an operational or support role.
- Introductory understanding of Agile methodologies and Product Management concepts, principles and practices.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities including root cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- API knowledge is a plus.
- Preferred, but not mandatory:

- Experience with product management, data and collaboration tools such as
Productboard, Dovetail, Heap, YouTrack or Jira.
- Exposure to Java and Software Development Life Cycle, and to SQL (Sybase, Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
