Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth we’re now looking for an Assistant / Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Vienna, supporting our Senior Quantity Surveyor in managing all costs relating to a project. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on exposure to a key project.

**Some of your daily activities**
- Assist with the preparation of reports about projected building costs for internal use and client review
- Ensure correct contractual procedures are operated at project level
- Assist with the accurate forecasting of workload, financial needs and blu-3 profitability
- Visit building sites to monitor the progress and to check that the work is being captured
- Assist to ensure all commercial activities are performed in an ethical manner while maintaining a competitive position in blu-3
- Assist with the preparation of a statement of final account recording the actual costs of the project
- Perform risk, value management and cost control
- It is expected that all of your behaviours and day to day activities will be underpinned by the blu-3 company core values

**Skills or experience you will need to succeed in this role**
- You’ll have previous experience of the construction industry
- Working knowledge of costing, estimation techniques, contract law and commercial practice
