**Position Description**:
**Job Summary**: The Engineer is having understanding of project management and skill set of creating cost-optimized high-level and low-level designs accordance to the defined SOW/SOP outlined or directed under project framework and require utilizing the field inputs. In addition to design tasks, the engineer will be required to generate Bill of materials (BOM) and other deliverables defined as per the output format inclusively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop Outside Plant (OSP) design solutions for telecommunications networks, with a primary focus on GPON technology.
- Conduct assessments to gather relevant data for OSP design and planning.
- Create detailed design documentation (High Level & Low-Level design), including fiber optic cable routes, splicing plans, and equipment placement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of OSP designs with overall network architecture.
- Utilize industry best practices and standards to optimize OSP designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends related to GPON technology and incorporate them into design strategies.
- Provide technical support during project implementation and troubleshoot OSP-related issues as needed.
- Leverage experience in German projects to contribute insights and adapt designs to local specifications and regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in both English and German languages, with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an OSP Design Engineer, with a strong emphasis on GPON technology & good hand-on experience in Splitter planning.
- Must have good knowledge for Splitters & Fiber design equipment’s.
- Familiarity with German telecommunications projects is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in OSP design tools and software.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic cable installation, splicing techniques, and related equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Aerial, UG & Buried designs.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality OSP designs.
- Understanding of industry standards and regulations governing telecommunications infrastructure.
- Experience working tools: AutoCAD, QGIS, GIS tools, KMZ, Google earth.
