**Tasks**
- Creation of an overall technical concept (architecture) taking into account standard components, product strategies and total cost aspects to achieve the target costs
- Clarification of architectural requirements
- Clarification of all functional, higher-level vehicle requirements
- Clarification of all cross-system, technical interfaces
- Conceptual design of architectures for the vehicle and drive control, Train.IT but also the landside connection
- Review of relevant subsystem concepts
- Technical support of the TBM/TM and cooperation in the preparation of the technical offer/project
- Cooperation with the relevant specialist groups and technical coordination of the concepts and requirements.
- Standardisation: Develop standardised architectures and demand them in bidding projects. Adaptation of the platform if necessary
- Support in the development of the test matrix at overall vehicle level
**Skills**
- You have a successfully completed technical education (FH/TU) in one of the fields (control engineering / computer technology / software technology /...) or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant professional group or activity
- Team leadership experience desired
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Experience with the design of vehicle control, drive control or train.IT networks
- Interest in requirements and systems engineering
**What else should I know?**
The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least EUR 53.200,00 (full-time). Siemens as an international company offers additional social benefits.
