**Our business**

**Your role**:

- In this essential function you assume responsibility for OMV’s central planning and optimization results database
- Furthermore you develop and maintain the tool that enables creation, execution and reporting of large case and scenario stacks in AspenTech PIMS with interface to Central PIMS Database
- You also maintainand develop the interface between Central PIMS Database and refinery accounting systems and update mappings and queries
- Development, programming, and implementation of tools used to speed up and optimize usability and user experience in our AspenTech optimization software environment offers a positive challenge
- You design and evaluate new analytic modelling and optimization strategies to improve OMV’s planning and optimization efficiency and performance
- Training and advising new and existing staff in OMV’s planning and optimization departments on new developments incl. in-house developments in Downstream Oil support you to build up additional know how within the organisation
- Calculation and reporting of monthly Plan vs. Actual’s comparison analyses used as a monthly performance indicator for LP planning accuracy vs. actual
- You handle and report weekly/monthly/yearly large-scale LP calculations and reports to ensure a reliable baseline for crude optimization and further analytics
- Troubleshooting for users in short-, mid
- and long-term planning functions in OMV to ensure best technical setup avoiding any interruption of the planning process complements your role

**Your profile**:

- You hold an university degree Master/Diploma in Informatics, Mathematics, Economics or Operations Research
- With at least 7 years work experience your are an expert in your field of expertise
You are a talent in programming on higher language level (Excel/VBA, C#, SQL, VB.NET)
Your colleagues know you as someone with strong quantitative and analytical skills, well organized, detailas well as result oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of flexibility and open-mindedness complete your personal profile
- You are fluent in English and German
