We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Editorial Assistant to join our vibrant editorial team.

As an Editorial Assistant, you will play an essential role in our publishing process. This position involves a mix of administrative support, manuscript handling, and project coordination. You will work closely with our editors to ensure the smooth operation of the editorial department and contribute to the successful publication of our titles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist editors with manuscript evaluation and preparation.
- Coordinate communications between authors, agents, and internal departments.
- Manage schedules, deadlines, and editorial calendars.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, file management, and correspondence.
- Facilitate the flow of manuscripts through the editorial process.
- Prepare and proofread documents, including manuscripts, marketing materials, and presentations.
- Conduct literary research and compile reports as needed.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute creative ideas.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- Previous experience in an editorial or publishing environment is a plus.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with publishing software.
- Passionate about books and the publishing industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
