TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
We are legally obliged to state the collectively agreed minimum salary for this position. This amounts to KV-Gruppe F / € 2.954,80 gross per month (14 times a year). We reward personal qualifications, training and professional experience with a significant overpayment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage general ledger activities (journal entries), inventory accounting and data reporting accuracy;
- Forecast and budget plant conversion cost spending, hours, headcount, and monitor the actual spending for accuracy;
- Analyze production order variances and implement corrective actions where necessary;
- Monitor scrap, obsolete stock, and inventory adjustments;
- Capex actual/forecast spending;
- Weekly and monthly reporting of various financial results and metrics;
- Analyze plant daily recovery;
- Provide direct support to the Plant Controller and work closely with Plant Operations, Supply, Materials and Divisional Finance
- Hourly Rates calculation;
- Ensure compliance with all internal control procedures and perform testing to validate compliance;
- Understand key cost streams and identify and drive cost saving opportunities;
- Participate in Plant Operational Meetings and Kaizen events as needed;
- Partner with Plant Operations Team on strategic initiatives;
- Provide decision support activities on key business cases and projects;
**What your background should look like**:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing environment;
- Proficiency in MS Office, experience with SAP is necessary;
- Fluent English professional;
- A forward-thinking, energetic person who demonstrates diversity in their experiences and is a strategic business partner;
- Exhibits a compelling drive for accomplishing goals with a strong sense of urgency;
- Must be curious, mentally agile and have a bias towards continuous improvement;
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
