**Head of Health & Safety (f/m/d)**

Your Tasks
- Direct strategy to develop the One Wienerberger Programme for the health & safety function at a corporate level
- Create and employ a way of working which supports local organisational acceptance and accountability for H&S
- Develop a robust and sustainable health & safety culture across multiple countries
- Review and advise local organisations’ CAPEX & OPEX budget spend to ensure high risk is prioritised
- Lead country H&S managers in a dotted line set-up
- Direct and support a larger cross-functional team across multiple countries & regions to achieve the health & safety business goals within the framework of operational excellence
- Act as the primary contact for the Senior Leadership Team within the regional organisations to provide recommendations to identified risks, improvement opportunities and/or new prevention measures
- Effectively support in event management such as accidents, incidents or significant occurrences via effective investigations and remedial actions required (i.e. root cause analysis)
- Act as a company advocate to promote ‘Safety First’ throughout the organisation via a range of initiatives related to culture & behaviour (i.e. just culture, VML, toolbox talks, life-saving rules, golden rules etc.)

Your Profile
- Proven experience in a senior Global/European health & safety leadership position
- An extensive knowledge and proven background within a manufacturing and/or construction environment
- Completed studies in the field of engineering or science
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, established interpersonal skills with effective communication
- Previous line management responsibilities
- Ability to travel (min 25%) and interact with team members in various time zones
- Strong background in relevant field (Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, Environment.)
- Deep knowledge regarding H&S regulations, laws, standards and industrial best practice
- Strong Change Management and communications skills; English

Our Offer

An attractive workplace in a dynamic environment with development opportunities of an internationally acting group is awaiting you. The monthly gross salary amounts to € 6.500;
- gross for a local contract. We offer market conform remuneration depending on experience and qualification, besides attractive employee benefits.
