**About Exscientia**:
We are looking for a highly motivated technical research associate to join Biobank Operations within our Translational Research and Precision Medicine teams. All of our Innovation is driven by people - highly talented multi-disciplinary teams that work collaboratively to solve real world drug discovery problems. In this role you will be responsible for supporting existing programs as well as clinical studies and trials - and work in a team of experts to improving scalability of existing workflows. You will work closely with a team of distinguished scientists at the cutting edge patient centric drug design. The technical research associate position within this operations and research and development team is crucial to our continuous growth.

**As the Technical Research Associate you will have the opportunity to**:

- Contribute to the design and further optimization of workflows within Translational Research and Precision Medicine Vienna team using flow cytometry and other phenotypic assays.
- Support and work within an incredibly motivated and talented, international and multidisciplinary team to make better drugs for the right patients faster.
- Establish and maintain documents and protocols to ensure reproducibility and experiment documentation according to Exscientia’s Quality Management System and Good Documentation Practice.

**Requirements**:

- BSc or MSc in biomedical sciences (molecular biology, biochemistry or similar)
- Experience with common molecular biology techniques including:

- Cell culture
- Flow cytometry
- DNA / RNA prep
- Experience with handling and working with primary human tissues is an advantage.
- Experience in working under good laboratory practice (GLP) and good documentation practice (GDP) guidelines is a bonus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Diligence and reliability in collaborations with attention to detail

**Benefits**
- We will work with you to provide a highly competitive compensation in accordance with the Austrian collective bargaining agreement, starting from a minimum of 43.000;
- € gross per year. We will negotiate an attractive package and overpayment based on your background and previous work experience_
