**Senior Scientist - Postdoc (M/F/d)**

**Your tasks**
- Develop and implement advanced numerical methods in simulation software for magnetic materials
- Develop machine learning methods for the optimization and design of magnetic materials
- Conduct simulations, analyze data and publish results in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences
- Coordinate and conduct international research projects
- Engage in international research collaboration
- Prepare and submit research proposals
- Supervise and guide students and scientific staff

**Your profile**
- Completed university degree (doctorate/PhD) in Physics or Material Sciences
- Experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher (more than 5 years)
- A research-oriented attitude and the ability to transfer knowledge
- Track record in peer-reviewed international journals in this research field
- Successful research project acquisition
- Extensive knowledge and experience in material simulation and magnetism
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (both level B2)

**In addition, the following criteria are desirable**:

- Experience in creating synthetic grain structures of magnetic materials
- Experience in managing and conducting international research projects
- Teamwork skills, high communication and organizational competence
- Broader knowledge in the field of magnetic materials, especially with rare earth lean permanent magnets

**Your perspective**
- Full time (40 hours/week) incl. paid lunch break (30 minutes, on days with more than 6 hours working time)
- Minimum salary of EUR 4,932.90 gross per month (14x) on a full-time basis. Willingness to pay more based on relevant qualifications and work experience.
