OMICRON electronics designs, realizes, and distributes innovative solutions to make the power supply safer and more reliable. A decisive factor for many years has been the consistent focus on employee satisfaction, which has earned OMICRON multiple awards in local and international "Great Place to Work" rankings. Values such as trust, openness, and appreciation have guided us in our daily work for 40 years. For our Data Management Team based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria) we are currently offering a **Master Thesis - AI supported data transformation**:*** **What's our Motivation?** Customers that decide to implement our solution often have existing data that needs to be migrated to our solution. This involves a thorough assessment of the existing data, their transformation and injection into our solution. Such migrations are usually organized as projects and involve significant investments of time and resources to implement. The goal of this master thesis is to investigate how artificial intelligence can streamline and simplify the data migration process, potentially saving significant time and resources. *** **What's the Project about?** The result of this thesis should be a set of recommendations on which parts of a migration project can be assisted by AI and how. Working prototypes are desired but not mandatory. We provide several examples of real-world migrations. These can be used as case studies and for validation of concepts and prototypes. - Analyze real-world migration projects to identify challenges and recurring patterns. - Explore AI tools and techniques that could address these challenges. - Assess the potential of AI to reduce complexity and improve efficiency in data migration projects. - Deliver actionable recommendations on integrating AI into the migration process. **Your Role** During the time you are working on your master’s thesis with us, you will be employed as an intern at OMICRON and will receive compensation for your work. *** **OMICRON electronics GmbH** Human Resources, Cosima Tölzer Phone: +43 59495 2542 Oberes Ried 1, 6833 Klaus, Austria Statutory notice: the monthly salary may considerably exceed the level stipulated by the collective labour agreement.
