Thus, we are offering a:
**PhD position (f/m/d)**:
**Your responsibility**:

- You are responsible for leading and managing your dissertation project: “Impact of Moisture, Temperature, and Sising Agents on the Mechanical and Surface Properties of Kraft Paper: A Comprehensive Study of Environmental Resilience”
- You are responsible to solve research questions related to the interaction between moisture, temperature and sising agents and their combined influence on the stretch behavior, structural integrity and surface coatability of Kraft paper
- You are responsible for planning and carrying out experiments in lab-scale e.g.
- Development of standard handsheet techniques
- Analysing technological properties (e.g. tensile Strength, stretch behavior, bursting strength)
- Fiber and Sising Analysis
- Chemical Characterisation
- You are responsible for achieving the project's content-related goals
- You present the results at national and international conferences and write scientific publications

**Your qualification**:

- University degree (chemistry, technical chemistry, process engineering, materials science or comparable education)
- Experience in analytical work
- Experience/ interests in paper making processes
- Experience in handling research projects is desirable but not a mandatory requirement
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Creativity, motivation and ability to work in a team
- Initiative, independence and self-organisation
- Completion of a doctoral programme is desired
