**Job Title**: Senior System Analyst

**Location**: Vienna, Austria (onsite)

**Position Type**: Full-time

**Visa requirement**: There is no sponsorship. Must be already resident in Austria. An Austrian/EU Citizen, or RWR+ card, is required.

The **Senior System Analyst** will play a critical role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing complex infrastructure environments. This position requires deep expertise in Linux systems, virtualization, container orchestration, and AI/ML infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable platforms to support business and research initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and optimize **Linux-based infrastructure** for high availability and performance.
- Lead the setup and management of **containers and orchestration platforms** (Kubernetes), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee **hypervisor architecture** and operations, ensuring efficient virtualization and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage and optimize **software-defined storage solutions** (e.g., CEPH).
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex technical issues.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in infrastructure, virtualization, and AI/ML domains.

**Expert knowledge of**
- ** Linux** systems infrastructure setup, operations, practices and optimization
- Containers and orchestration / **Kubernetes** setup and operations
- ** Hypervisor** architecture and operations

**Experience with**:

- Virtualization, particularly VMware, Proxmox, KVM and QEMU on Linux
- Software-defined storage, particularly CEPH
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning infrastructure setup and configuration
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, particularly Ansible and Terraform

**Familiarity with**:

- Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS)
- Hyperconverged Infrastructure
- Cisco fabric interconnect infrastructure
- NetApp storage administration
- Windows based systems administration
- Cloud services and hybrid environments management.
