**Job Details**
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an **Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) **for Austria and Switzerland region.

**What you will do**:

- You are responsible for the profitable growth of the Johnson Controls brand Fire Suppression Products (FSP) Division business. Your objective is to coordinate efforts (selling water-based fire sprinkler components) in the Austria and Switzerland region
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales ensuring we meet or exceed customer, employee, and sales goal expectations
- Developing sales strategies, negotiate contracts and execute pricing strategy to develop new business and maintain existing business
- Work as a team with other area and nationally based service and solutions sales leaders to leverage best practices and achieve company objectives
- Meet with key clients to assist sales representatives with building and enhancing relationships, negotiating and closing deals

**How you will do it**:

- Responsible for sales plan achievement of Austria & Switzerland within Johnson Controls for all sales activities for the fire alarm, security, fire sprinkler and fire suppression businesses.
- Accountable for the execution of the sales initiatives within the account plans to ensure optimal market coverage, penetration and share growth.
- Coordinate pricing strategies in partnership with channel.
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert on products and support channel partner salespeople at customer product training.
- Identify, recommend and implement programs, tools, and support requirements necessary to advance the selling effectiveness of equipment sales organization.

**What we look for**:

- Minimum of 5 years sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience in a business to business environment, or successful management of another sales channel.
- HTL / bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
- Demonstrated sales experience and consultative selling process
- Strong business acumen with the ability to counsel and develop customers.
- Excellent communication and team building skills with a strong understanding of inter-departmental relations.
- Possess excellent presentation skills and proficient at 1-on-1 and group presentations.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment.
- Fluent in German and English
