Controlling Specialist (M/F/n)
Purpose of the job function:
The purpose of this role is to support the core Controlling function and operation in financial reporting and target planning processes. The role focuses in supporting routine mandatory tasks, which are time consuming but required due to mandatory company processes. The position makes a critical contribution in providing timely, accurate and value-added decision-making information to the controlling team, top management as well as external stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities- Download and maintain data from various internal systems and update worksheet- Support the team’s data management operation- Gather information from other departments and identify issues caused initially- Produce and maintain reports to deliver insightful information- Support operation team to prepare monthly reports for KPI evaluation, sales and financial planning and expense analysis- Maintain internal documentation and work processes- Support regular or ad-hoc report for internal and external stakeholders in English to deliver insightful information
Skills and Qualifications- University degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration- Maximum 2 years of experiences (Preferred previous controlling experience but not necessary)- Knowledge of SAP HANA Finance (preferred)- Capacity to use BI systems (SAP Analytics, Power BI) and SQL language preferred- Business reporting system knowledge- Resilient personality with a self-reliant, independent and accurate way of working- Fluent in English and German- Structured and precise workstyle- Time management and the ability to meet deadlines and work in a stressful environment- Entrepreneurial thinking, pro-active work style- Open to new ideas and interested in effectiveness
It is very good opportunity to someone who want to rapidly acquire expertise in complex internal processes and business practices by covering many aspects of the business operation. The learning cycle for entry-level controllers is at least 1 year and a full induction into the position can take up to 2 years.
